Program Details

 

Advance HSE runs two 4-day per week programs in which homeschool students may participate for free:

 

The Academic Program

​

Available to all students from K - 12th grade and meets from 8:15 AM – 9:45 AM each morning Monday – Thursday.

 

Classes provide leveled Mathematics instruction and STEM lab experiences. Students will be tested and placed into math classes based on their proficiency level instead of their age or grade so that each student’s needs can be met, and they can move into higher-level classes as they master math concepts and skills.

The ENGAGE Program

​

Available to students in 6th - 12th grade. Classes are held from 1:20 – 3:00 PM each afternoon and will provide “hands-on” education in the Arts, Humanities, Lifetime Skills, Technology, Fitness (PE, sports, health) and Practical Arts.

Students will rotate as a group through a series of units, each lasting 6 to 18 weeks, depending on the weather, the time needed to complete a unit, and expert teacher availability.

There will also be extended opportunities on select Fridays for culminating activities and field trips.
